57% of the Canadian companies that responded to our survey said that salary offers were flat in 2023, yet 43% plan to increase salaries for certain, hard-to-fill positions in 2024 and a further 29% plan to increase offers across all teams.
Looking to 2024, the market is set to cool slightly as Canada’s inflation rate drops below 3%, the lowest in over two years. While the pressure to raise wages is expected to ease compared to 2023, economists anticipate modest salary growth ranging from 3% to 5%.
