Supply Chain Manager - Aftermarket

Our client, a leader in filtration solutions, seeks a dynamic Supply Chain Manager for its Killarney team. This role focuses on ensuring efficient material flow and parts delivery, meeting manufacturing and customer demands, while optimizing inventory and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team overseeing sourcing, buying, and planning for aftermarket operations.
  • Manage the entire material flow process, ensuring timely parts delivery and inventory optimization.
  • Develop and execute strategic supply chain plans, incorporating S&OP processes and reducing excess and obsolete materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Handle contract management and develop long-term supplier agreements to maximize value.
  • Implement and maintain best practices in accordance with ISO9001.
  • Coordinate invoice reconciliation with Accounts Payable, resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure employee safety and environmental considerations in procurement processes.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives through price negotiations, rebates, and extended vendor payment terms.
  • Lead and develop the supply chain team to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in strategic and tactical procurement, S&OP, and contract law.
  • Proven background in industrial manufacturing supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of total quality, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and financial analysis.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
