About the role
In this role, you will report to the Financial Controller. This is a full-fledged Finance Manager position which involves taxation, project analysis and controlling. Primary duties include organizing and planning financial audits, evaluating reporting systems in place, and implementing financial procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all financial procedures and systems within the company's accounting and finance departments globally.
- Analyse expenditures and develop realistic budget plans to optimize profits and financial performance.
- Report any issues impacting performance or profitability to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Design and implement financial success plans to drive the organization's growth and stability.
- Play a key role in company mergers and acquisitions, ensuring financial protocols are followed.
- Lead and provide guidance and support for effective operations.
- Implement strategies to protect and enhance the organization's financial health and long-term viability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
- A master's degree is preferred for roles handling expansive budgets.
- A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset for this role.
- 8+ years' experience in accounting, budgeting, auditing, financial planning, from sizeable international company/background is required.
- Expert knowledge of finance and accounting procedures, regulations, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical abilities and leadership skills to drive financial strategies and decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English.
