Support the Team Head in fulfilling the audit mandate as set out in the Audit Charter, including strategic planning, direction, focus and priority setting, quality management, as well as organisation and resources deployment within Audit
Assist with coordinating the annual audit planning exercise and preparation of the Audit Plan for responsible audit portfolio, ensuring proper coverage and prioritisation of the audit activities to reflect the company's changing business environment and operations with reference to the corporate strategies, and taking into consideration Management's needs without compromising Audit's independence
Manage a small team of auditors and direct and oversee the audits of responsible portfolios and projects to ensure proper discharge of the Audit Charter and the Audit Plan
Advise and collaborate with Management of responsible portfolios to identify opportunities in addressing risk and control issues, with the objective to better their systems of internal controls, processes, policies and procedures
Participate in the audit quality assurance team to perform the review and update of the Audit Manual on an annual or as needed basis to ensure continued appropriateness in line with the Standards and Code of Ethics and the Audit Committee's and CEO's expectations, and to undertake and complete the audit quality assurance and improvement programme on an annual basis
Participate in project audits to develop and deliver initiatives on audit automation and audit data analytics and enhancements to the enterprise-level Governance, Risk and Compliance System for continuous improvement of audit effectiveness and efficiency and fulfil other relevant Audit KPIs
Requirements
Bachelor's degree holder
A minimum of 15 years of experience gained from large companies
Posssess experience in large-scale audit projects and the deep-dive audit approach
