Contract Senior Network Engineer

Job duties:

• Support the Network and Security Manager in designing and implementing network and security projects to enhance enterprise infrastructure.
• Serve as a network and security authority, possessing in-depth knowledge of key technologies and a comprehensive understanding of other relevant fields.
• Oversee the enterprise network infrastructure, which includes cloud computing integration, on-premise data centers, internet platforms, regional MPLS, video conferencing, and network automation, ensuring stability and availability.
• Work with vendors and service providers to plan network and security solutions, deliver services, and provide technical support.
• Create and maintain comprehensive monitoring for enterprise network and security systems.
• Lead daily operations in networking and security, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards.
• Deliver high-quality implementation services for network projects and provide 24/7 support for business applications.
• Assist with the adoption of new technologies, particularly in multi-cloud networking and cybersecurity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in large-scale network infrastructure and security projects, with a focus on cloud computing (preferably Azure, Alibaba, and Oracle Cloud) integration.
• Professional certifications in networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing, such as CCNP, CCDP, CISSP, CISA, and CCSP.
• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise networking and infrastructure security across various platforms, including cloud networking, on-premise data centers, WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and mobile networks, along with their corresponding monitoring tools.
• Strong practical experience in cybersecurity, including firewalls, cloud proxies, load balancers, VPNs, remote access, network admission control, IP address management, vulnerability management, network automation, and monitoring.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with strong influencing and leadership abilities.
• Proficient presentation skills for effectively conveying cloud network and automation projects to senior executives and business stakeholders.
• Skilled in facilitation, vendor management, project management, change management, and relationship management.
