Morgan McKinley are seeking a Supply Planner to join a dynamic team on a 6-month contract basis. Based in Dublin with hybrid working options, this role with an immediate start date.
This Supply Planner will play an integral part in implementing supply strategies to ensure timely and continuous supply of quality products to a global customer base while managing supply in line with forecasting and company targets.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Define on a monthly basis supply plans to guarantee a defined service level, in line with the production budget and year-end inventory target
- Report and monitor supply planning / production KPIs
- Monitoring orders placed until arrival, ensuring timely arrival on site to ensure customer order fulfilment.
- Balance of inventory levels in line with business requirements for continued supply, with a view towards optimum stock holding and reduced costs.
- Engage with suppliers on meeting deadlines, provide updates on orders and escalate supply issues/delays
- Contribute to the forecast through ongoing trend analysis of actual stock movement, taking action as required.
- Cross functional collaboration to ensure compliance and personal, team and supply chain targets are met across the business.
Key requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a Supply Chain or planning role
- Third Level qualification in a relevant discipline is desired
- Proficient user of SAP and Excel
