I am recruiting for an experienced financial analyst for a fast growing business in Cork. This role will start as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Job Purpose:
The Financial Analyst role focuses on achieving financial and operational targets by providing timely and insightful financial information, ensuring governance, and contributing to the Finance Strategy within the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed reporting and analysis of commercial metrics. Investigate variances and offer insightful commentary to explain performance.
* Business Partnering: Support key stakeholders, both financial and non-financial, by providing value-adding insights, commercial awareness, and reporting.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and present the budgets and forecasts.
* Cross-functional Projects: Collaborate with teams across the business on various cross-functional projects as required.
* Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc analysis as necessary to support business needs.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Qualifications: A qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
* Proven Analytical and Commercial Skillset: Experience in hands on analysis and business partnering
* Systems Proficiency: Strong systems skills, including MS Excel skills
* Influence & Communication: Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex financial concepts effectively across the organization
