Our Cork based client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain varied experience across an ever-expanding business within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Invoicing & Statements
- Income Reconciliations
- Monthly payroll processing
- Bank Reconciliations
- Credit Control
- Medical cost refund claims
- Co-ordination of insurance schemes
- Collating information for grant schemes
- Oversee submission of financial accounts
- Collection of fees and fines
- Monthly administration of company pension scheme
- Support to other departments
- On-going administration of company health insurance policies
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of two years' experience in an Accounts Department
- Strong numeric skills and experience in accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and credit control
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with a computerized accounting package, ideally SAP Business One
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong time management
- Thorough knowledge of payroll processing including payroll taxes, holidays, and benefits
- Hybrid working available with the expectation of a return to office working in time
