Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Location: Cork, Ireland
Salary: 35/40k DOE
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while contributing to cutting-edge projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and specification of mechanical systems for building services projects.
- Support senior engineers with project coordination, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to specification.
- Conduct site surveys and assist with the installation of mechanical systems on-site.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Work closely with the electrical team to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in regular project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge through training and development.
Requirements:
- A recent graduate (within the last 2 years) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, HVAC, and building services design.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus.
- Full driving license (preferred).
