Project Manager - Digital Transformation & Innovation, Permanent Opportunity based in Cork.
You will be responsible for driving digital transformation and innovation within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, technology, and healthcare, with a passion for leveraging digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to digital health solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with Academia, Technology vendors, and other key stakeholders.
- Innovation management
- Foster a culture of innovation within the organisation
- Development of a framework of governance and control
- Support initiatives to develop and implement innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to pilot and scale new technologies.
- Project management
- Lead and manage digital transformation projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Stakeholder engagement
- Act as liaison between ICT and administrative departments to ensure alignment of digital initiatives with organisation needs.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to drive project success.
- Digital transformation strategy (advisory member)
- Key member in developing and implementing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the MUH goals.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and digital trends that can be applied to healthcare.
- Performance monitoring
- Monitor the performance of digital initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
- Analyze data to assess the impact of digital transformation efforts on healthcare outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on project progress and performance metrics.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, healthcare management, or related field
- Proven experience in business development, digital transformation, and innovation, preferably in healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of healthcare ICT systems and digital health solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certified in Project Management with good knowledge of PM tools and software. Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Time-Management & communication skills.
- Excellent organisational & computer skills essential.
- Must be highly motivated and be confident to work on your own initiative.
