10 month contract | Hybrid, 3 days in Dublin
Our client, a well-known global tech multinational, is looking for a Deal Strategist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in contract structuring and customizations.
Deal Strategists analyse opportunities, create innovative business deals and execute transactions throughout the sales cycle. They are trusted advisors to Sales and support the development and execution of commercial structures for direct deals between the organisation and the End Customers. This role relies heavily on the ability to execute and transact.
The ideal candidate will possess both a contracting and operations background and be a proven collaborator across multiple stakeholders and be able to manage multiple opportunities/transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate alignment and communication between the company's Sales Teams, internal stakeholders - including Business Practices, Credit, Revenue-Accounting, Risk Management & Compliance and Security & Trust - and external customers/ partners to promptly resolve business and contractual issues and foster productive interactions.
- Validate all aspects of contractual packages for accuracy and compliance with the company's Business Practices and approvals process while maintaining customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Cultivate best practices through analyses, projects and reporting contributing to the continued growth of the company's field sales operations.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Support Sales to create new contracts and execute requests within existing contracts (such as purchase orders).
- Facilitate alignment and communication between Sales and other internal Functions like Accounting, Pricing, Legal,, incl. managing the approvals for transactions.
- Support Sales and external customers with contract interpretation, discussions, and administration of service agreements.
Requirements:
- Experience in Contractual structures- and customisations (e.g., drafting, redlining, discussing agreements) and financial modelling (discussing offers) at a technology firm.
- Ability to navigate within complex processes and in multiple tools.
- Self-learner
- Legal Background would be a plus
- German language would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Data Protection and Security concepts in Cloud Computing
- Negotiation Skills
- Cloud Compute Contracts knowledge
