This role involves joining a dynamic European legal team of approximately 28 professionals across 12 countries. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal for the European region, you will play a key role in providing legal guidance and support to a wide range of business functions.

Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely legal advice on a variety of commercial contracts, transactions, and regulatory developments to support business objectives.
- Advise on and mitigate legal risks, ensuring robust management and reporting of potential exposures.
- Lead and advise on cross-functional projects, including M&A, procurement, outsourcing, reorganizations, and data privacy initiatives.
- Monitor and implement best practices in the industry and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively across departments and regions, fostering strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Support the optimization of legal resources and contribute to strategic business initiatives.
Required
- Qualified solicitor or barrister with a minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience, preferably Irish qualified.
- Strong expertise in corporate and commercial law, with proven skills in drafting and negotiating agreements and transactions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior executives effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and think strategically.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a multinational or cross-border financial services or insurance company is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Irish or EU regulatory frameworks, including ESG legal frameworks, is a plus.
- Strong corporate governance experience and a commercially focused, solutions-driven approach.
