Job title: Motor Claims Handler

A leading global insurance company in Dublin is looking to grow its Motor Claims team working across areas including Motor Damage and Personal Injury. They have ambitious growth plans for 2025 and beyond, and after several promotions they are looking to continue ramping up hires. The successful Claims Handler will get full training on Personal Injury claims if they come from a general motor background and are willing to learn. The outlook of the role is to eventually take over and manage a portfolio of roughly 200 claims files. You may attend court on occasion for settlement talks and deal with customers helping them through the full process to resolution of claims.
There is a clear progression pathway for the Claims Handler to progress long term in the business and work closely with very experienced and high performing Motor Claims Handlers.
Role and responsibilities:
- Manage a claims portfolio dealing with customers regularly
- Provide excellent written and verbal communications to customers with a strong attention to detail
- Work closely with wider claims team to bring cases to resolution
- Manage customer relationships and deal with complex cases in Personal Injury
Job requirements:
- 3+ Years Experience in Motor Claims role
- CIP qualification
- Working knowledge of Motor Damage or Personal Injury Claims
