Role Overview:
We are seeking a Newly Qualified (NQ) Commercial Property Solicitor with excellent academic achievements and who completed a seat in commercial property during his/her training contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to work on complex commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development matters. You will be joining a highly experienced team, working under a newly promoted partner and with clients in both the private and public sectors, and have the chance to gain exposure to high-profile matters in a growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on a wide range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, and leases.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as agreements for sale and purchase, leases, licences, and development agreements.
- Assisting with the due diligence process on property transactions.
- Conducting legal research and providing practical advice on property-related issues.
- Managing client relationships and providing regular updates on the progress of transactions.
- Working alongside senior solicitors and partners on complex matters, gaining exposure to all stages of commercial property transactions.
- Participating in business development activities and contributing to the growth of the firm's property practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong academic background, ideally with a first-class or 2:1 degree in Law, or a similar academic qualification.
- Admitted to the roll of solicitors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development.
- A genuine interest in commercial property law and the real estate sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
