Private Banker (Polish) | Dublin | Permanent / Hybrid

As a Private Banker, you will be responsible for growing, managing, and maintaining a book of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) and family office clients in Poland. You will leverage your established and proven network of contacts to expand the Private Bank's presence in this market. Working collaboratively with the team, you will contribute to achieving targets related to new client acquisition, net new asset growth, credit and investment acquisitions, and revenue generation.
Fluency in English and Polish is essential. The role requires previous experience in risk control and monitoring within a client book. Key competencies for success include risk management and controls, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital proficiency, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and growing relationships with UHNW individuals, family offices, and institutional clients based in Poland.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with UHNW clients.
- Understanding clients' financial needs, goals, and risk tolerance.
- Acting as a trusted advisor by providing tailored wealth management solutions.
- Offering bespoke investment solutions, credit strategies, and banking services.
- Coordinating with specialists in investments, lending, and risk management to ensure comprehensive financial strategies.
- Growing the client portfolio by leveraging personal and professional networks.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell banking, lending, and investment products.
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements set by the Central Bank of Ireland and global financial regulators.
- Conducting periodic portfolio reviews to align with client objectives and risk profiles.
- Working closely with internal teams, including investment specialists, credit teams, and risk analysts, to provide holistic financial solutions.
- Partnering with senior executives and product experts to deliver high-quality banking services.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay updated on market trends and financial products.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Polish.
- Experience in dealing with the private banking needs of UHNW families in Poland.
- Proven track record in building a client base using internal and external networks.
- Experience in controlling and monitoring risk within a client book.
- Strong management skills and the ability to influence others through direct or indirect leadership.
- The ideal candidate will hold either the Irish Qualified Financial Advisor QFA designation or the Accredited Product Advisor APA designation, or be prepared to study for and attain any of these qualifications.
