Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join a growing marketing team for a B2B SaaS tech sofrware company in Cork (open to remote working). You will be the first product marketing hire and will be responsible for the development and roadmap for the function. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing, Sales and product teams to help develop and execute go-to-market strategies, positioning, messaging, and driving demand for the product.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in SAAS based product marketing, with a proven track record of successfully articulating product value, enabling sales and driving growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft clear, compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audience and drives demand. Create a constant stream of assets to communicate this positioning and messaging through the sales and marketing teams
- Product releases and roadmap: Support the development of a customer facing product roadmap which increases the stickiness of the product for customers and supports gaining a competitive advantage with new deals. Support sales with the understanding of these new features and the competitive advantage they bestow.
- Market Research & Insights: Conduct research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Translate insights into actionable strategies to differentiate our products.
- Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools, presentations, and collateral to equip the sales team with the information and assets needed to effectively sell our products.
- Demand Generation: Partner with demand generation to develop marketing campaigns that drive awareness and generate qualified leads all the way through the funnel.
- Customer Advocacy: Work closely with the customer facing teams to gather feedback, create case studies, and showcase customer success stories.
- Campaign development: Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure the product messaging is integrated into all our marketing assets and support the creation of high- impact whitepapers, webinars, blogs, videos, and product guides
Key Skills/ Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of SAAS product marketing experience, with a proven track record of product positioning and messaging, sales enablement and demand creations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create compelling messaging and present ideas effectively.
- Prioritization: There is lots of opportunities in this role, you will need to determine where you will have most impact and effectively communicate and collaborate to make these priorities happen.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
