My client is a global leader in Aviation, committed to driving growth and innovation across international markets. We are currently seeking a highly experienced M&A Director to lead and execute strategic mergers and acquisitions that align with our global business objectives. This is a key leadership role, and the ideal candidate will have extensive end-to-end experience in managing complex M&A transactions for multinational companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions, from strategic planning, target identification, due diligence, negotiations, and deal structuring to post-merger integration.
- Develop and execute M&A strategies in alignment with the company's global growth objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, including market and competitive analysis.
- Conduct and manage comprehensive due diligence processes, ensuring thorough risk assessment and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, operations, and HR teams, to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Drive negotiations with target companies, external advisors, and legal counsel to secure favorable deal terms.
- Oversee post-merger integration, ensuring successful alignment of acquired entities with company objectives and culture.
- Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, financial institutions, and key industry contacts.
- Report directly to the executive leadership team, providing insights and recommendations for ongoing M&A opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, end-to-end M&A transactions for global companies.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
- Extensive experience in managing cross-border transactions, with a deep understanding of global regulatory environments.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
- Strong network within the M&A and corporate finance community.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
- Manage and lead the execution of M&A transactions (acquisitions and disposals), end-to-end e.g. financial modeling, deal structuring and negotiations as well as managing transaction documentation.
- Manage engagements with senior management and the Board with respect to potential projects and related activities eg presentations/memorandums/submissions/reports.
