Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the monthly financial close process, including balance sheet, income statement, and management report preparation.
- Analyse financial data, prepare account reconciliations, and identify discrepancies with solutions.
- Support periodic forecasting and budgeting cycles for Supply Chain, Research & Development (R&D), and general administrative functions.
- Provide financial assistance for purchasing, accounts payable, and intercompany accounting.
- Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and verify financial transactions.
- Assist with domestic and foreign compliance obligations, including tax, SOX procedures, and statutory reporting.
- Collaborate with statutory auditors and external advisors to ensure seamless audit activities.
- Support grant claims, R&D tax credit applications, and the financial administration of collaborative partnerships.
- Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations as needed to support business decisions.
Job Requirements
- Qualified accountant.
- Proven experience in a financial analysis or related role, with the ability to deliver actionable insights.
