About the role:
You will play a vital role in developing, implementing, supporting, and enhancing general insurance schemes and products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop product concepts, pricing strategies, and positioning to ensure competitiveness in the market
- Manage and monitor the full spectrum of product development lifecycle from ideation to launch.
- Prepare product materials for product launch, including presentation deck, product specifications, launch pack, scheduling, training tools, product briefing etc.
- Evaluate pre- and post-launch performance and risk assessment
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing offerings
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as actuarial, operations, legal and compliance, marketing, underwriting, claims, and actuarial teams to design products that meet regulatory requirements and risk management standards
- Establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in product development within the insurance industry, with a focus on general insurance
- Strong understanding of insurance regulations, market trends, and consumer behaviour
- Candidate with GI product knowledge in sales, underwriting and operation are also welcome
- Holder of IIQAS / ACII / ANZIIF designations or other related
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
