Reports to: Manager, Design Services
The UI/UX Designer is responsible for logically visualizing complex systems and user interaction flows; building, prototyping, and continually evolving websites and applications from concept to completion.
Main Function of the Job:
As a UI/UX Designer,
Concept Development:
- Convey concepts through sketches, flows, wireframes, clickable prototypes, etc.
- Translate business requirements and user needs into tangible interaction designs through detailed user flows, wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes.
- Define innovative user interfaces and interaction rules that enhance user productivity and satisfaction.
User-Centric Design:
- Plan and conduct user research, user testing, and other activities to bring user feedback into the product design process.
- Develop and maintain design mockups, usage scenarios, prototype specifications, navigation maps, and other design documents.
Design & Prototyping:
- Create rapid prototypes and mockups for user testing and development.
- Utilize tools like Figma and Hotjar to craft intuitive designs, analyze user behavior, and iterate on solutions.
SEO-Driven UX:
- Design user experiences with SEO best practices in mind, ensuring smooth navigation, logical content hierarchy, and mobile-first optimization for better search engine visibility.
Innovation and Trends:
- Stay abreast of innovations in UI/UX best practices, interaction design trends and patterns, and tools/topics relevant to the UX community.
- Continuously learn and demonstrate competencies in modern design systems, technologies, products, and solutions.
Collaboration & Brand Alignment:
- Work with stakeholders, the Design and Brand Managers to streamline processes, workflows, and templates in support of lean and agile methodologies.
- Ensure designs are highly engaging, detail-oriented, and in line with brand attributes.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
General Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adapt to new projects or work as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
