The Role:
As a Data Visualisation Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in turning complex data into compelling stories. You'll collaborate with diverse teams to understand their needs, gather requirements, and deliver impactful visualisations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data visualisations using Power BI and other relevant tools.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
- Utilize Python for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into clear visualisation requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data visualisation trends and technologies.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI
- Excellent data visualisation skills and experience in creating compelling dashboards
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Must have at least 2 years of commercial experience
- Must be located in Sydney and able to work in a hybrid model
