Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of data and analytics architecture, covering areas like data sourcing, storage, reporting, and AI/ML technologies.
• Design solutions to enhance both new and existing systems, and collaborate with teams to plan the overall technology roadmap, including retiring outdated databases.
• Assess and plan for the growth and development of the architecture team.
• Prepare architectural designs and reports for management, ensuring they understand the business impact of technical projects.
• Provide architectural guidance to engineers and managers, and promote standards and policies.

Skills Reqd.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in analyzing, designing, and developing data and analytics systems. Experience in consultancy for architecture projects is a significant benefit.
• Knowledge in Datalake / Lakehouse / Deltalake, Master & Reference Data Management, Data Quality, Meta Data and Data Lineage.
• Ability to spot issues in current systems, create plans to fix them, and effectively lead and influence others.
• Simplify complex problems and quickly learn about new areas or topics.
• Proficient in English.
