Our client is a leading player in the travel retail industry. They have global presence and are strong in Asia. The HR Director will lead the HR strategy across the organization, focusing on fostering a culture of learning, driving employee engagement, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business goals, providing guidance to senior leaders on organizational development, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
- Learning & Development: Oversee the creation and execution of learning initiatives that enhance skills, support career progression, and build a culture of continuous development across the organization.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Drive innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent, and design onboarding programs that improve retention and early-stage employee engagement.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Foster a unified culture through employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives, and tailored wellness and benefits offerings that boost satisfaction and morale.
- HR Systems & Compliance: Lead the implementation of HR management systems and ensure full compliance with labor laws and regulations across all operational markets.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to department heads and senior management, ensuring HR initiatives support broader business objectives and deliver measurable impact.
Qualifications and Skills
- Business or any relevant degree
- 5 years minimum of HR leadership experience, with strategic HR planning, learning and development, and employee engagement.
- Strong track record in Luxury Retail, Food & Beverage or hospitality industries
- Fluency in Mandarin (C2) and Bahasa Melayu (C2) preferred, with advanced proficiency in HRMS tools such as Infotech HRMS, Ramco HRMS, SAP HR, and Timesoft HRMS.
