Core Compliance, AML and Testing (Associate - AVP)

An opportunity for a compliance professional to join a foreign investment bank with a growing profile in the Japan market and a uniquely broad scope of role

Roles/Responsibilities

• Central compliance responsibilities including collaborating with APAC colleagues on policy reviews and staff training iniatives
• Coordinating regulatory enquiries and inspections
• Financial crime compliance coverage, including AML reporting, notications and interaction with the regional team
• Testing of the local compliance framework through risk and control self assessments

Required skills

• Suitable candidates will have some previous experience in core/central compliance, testing or financial crime (AML/CFT) space
• Fluent Japanese and business level English
