Finance Manager - Luxury Retail (外資系)

Seeking a skilled Finance Manager to support the strategic goals of our foreign luxury retail client.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company's business plan and annual budget with financial analysis and forecasting.
• Oversee accounting functions, including G/L, A/R, A/P, and asset management, in collaboration with an outsourced accounting team.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, presenting timely insights to management.
• Create cash flow statements, integrating data on retail/wholesale sales, inventory, and expenses to minimize financial risks.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and tax compliance, ensuring fiscal year closings and adherence to regulatory standards.

Required skills

• 5+ years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural teams and with US headquarters.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.
• CPA qualification is preferred but not required.
