Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare internal financial reports to support strategic decision-making and business performance analysis.
- Develop external financial reports for stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Support the company's annual external financial audit process.
- Analyse and report on the company's cost structure and product profitability.
- Implement cash-flow planning and monitoring systems to align with operating budgets.
- Oversee cost management for direct labour, subcontractors, materials, and plant operations.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with Irish tax regulations.
- Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders, including creation, approval, and tracking.
- Monitor supplier payments and address any discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing grant funding applications.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Strong ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Professional and precise written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Initiative and proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes.
