Resume Preparation Tips & Sample CV for Accounting & Finance Professionals
Putting together your resume is the first step and often one of the most important in your job search.
This is your opportunity to open the door to an interview with a potential employer. It’s a fine balance between putting enough information to get the interview, but not so much as to disengage the reader.
A resume should be no longer than 5-6 pages, the bulk of the information should be about your last 2-3 jobs or covering around 6-7 years. Keep the information concise, often bullet pointing your experience helps. This should grab the attention of the reader and you can explain anything further at your interview. If you have any questions around your job search, feel free to contact our Accounting & Finance recruiters for a confidential discussion.
