Our client seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of their critical IT infrastructure, including cloud (Azure) and on-premises solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and implement network infrastructure (switches, routers, Wi-Fi)
- Manage and support datacenters, servers, and storage systems
- Administer server and desktop virtualization (VMware, Citrix)
- Maintain and support Active Directory, Azure AD, and other directory services
- Ensure system security, stability, and performance
- Manage backups and disaster recovery plans
- Provide 2nd/3rd level support for infrastructure issues
- Participate in infrastructure projects and initiatives
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in multi-site IT infrastructure support
- Strong networking skills (Cisco, routing, switching, Wi-Fi)
- Expertise in VMware vSphere and Citrix virtualization
- Proficiency in Active Directory and Azure AD administration
- Experience with system documentation and BCP/DR planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Industry certifications (ITIL, CCNP, VCP, MCITP)
- Experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Exchange, SQL Server)
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
