DPay portal - Submitting Timesheets
Morgan McKinley uses the DPay portal to receive and process all our contractor's timesheets (Log in to our DPay portal). To allow you to be able to submit timesheets on the portal you must first ensure you have correctly onboarded yourself.
You will receive login details where you need to enter the following details to ensure you can submit timesheets online.
Personal Details
Mobile Phone (Do Not add +61 when entering your contact number)
Bank Details If you receive an “Invalid BSB” error message email syd-contractorsupport@morganmckinley.com
Tax File Number
Superannuation Details
If you are a Limited Company; copies of your insurances x 3
If your onboarding is incomplete or only partially completed, you will not be able to submit.
Once you are logged in, you will see a list of timesheets applicable to you. On the settings drop-down located at the end of the row, you will see the option to “Submit Timesheet”. This will open and you will be able to submit the hours/days of your work week. Please note that the “Per Diem Amount” will remain $0.00, which is normal. You will still be paid at your correct rate.
Save and Submit will send a notification to your timesheet approver via email. Once your approver approves your timesheet, you will also get a notification via email. If you would like to partially save your timesheet and continue later, please select Save.
On the settings drop-down located and the end of the row for your applicable timesheet, you will see the option Add/Edit Expenses. Please ensure you attach the expense receipts only.
The cut off for submitting timesheets is 4pm on the Monday following the work week you’re submitting your timesheet for. For Westpac contractors submitting via Skillstream, this will be 12pm on Monday. Due to the high volume of contractors to be paid, we cannot extend the cut off time, if your timesheet doesn’t make the deadline you will be paid the following week.
If you are contracted through Westpac | BT (Skillstream), AMP (Fieldglass), BAML (Fieldglass) or through a NSW Government department (Fieldglass | Beeline), you do not need to submit a timesheet on Morgan McKinley’s portal.
Unfortunately, the DPay portal is only accessible on Android phones at this point in time. We are currently working on enabling the portal on iOS devices and will update you when this functionality is available.
If you’ve submitted a timesheet incorrectly, you should request your manager to reject your timesheet approval, which will allow you to go back into the portal and make any amendments. Once your amendments have been made, you can re-submit.
If your manager has already approved your timesheet, and you have noticed an error, please get in touch with Morgan McKinley at syd-contractorsupport@morganmckinley.com as soon as possible so we can notify our payroll team.
If you haven’t been set up with a secondary timesheet approver in the DPay portal please contact your Morgan McKinley Consultant. They will touch base with your Manager on who can be your secondary approver and will organize for this person to be added. The secondary approver will receive an email with logins to confirm they are set up and are ready to approve timesheets.
To change any of your personal details, log into the portal and navigate to the person icon located in the top right hand of your dashboard and click on My Information. Please note you will only be able to update personal information from Thursday to Monday close of business.
Due to Privacy, we cannot update this information on your behalf but if you're having issues updating information or downloading payslips please contact us.
To view your payslip, navigate to the person icon located in the top right hand of your dashboard and click on My Information.
We recommend using the Chrome internet browser when trying to open your payslips. If you are being requested for a password, this will be your date of birth in the following format: YYYYMMDD
Once your assignment has completed you will no longer have access to the DPay portal so we suggest that you download your payslip weekly.

If you are contracting under a PAYG or employment arrangement, your superannuation payment will be equal to 11.00% of your base pay rate.
You can salary sacrifice from your Superannuation only. We have a Salary Sacrifice form that is required to be completed, signed and emailed to syd-contractorsupport@morganmckinley.com, please email us for this form. Our payroll team requires four (4) weeks' notice each time you wish to make an update or change.

Generally, you will not be eligible for any form of paid leave. However, in some circumstances, you may be eligible for unpaid leave. Please contact your recruitment consultant to confirm if you may be eligible.
Tax / Group Certificates
Everyone working in Australia needs a Tax File Number (TFN). This must be supplied to your employer, bank and superannuation fund. Go to Getting a tax file number on the ATO website : https://www.ato.gov.au/ to find out how.
Generally, we consider you to be an Australian resident for tax purposes if you:
have always lived in Australia or you have come to Australia and now live here permanently; are an overseas student doing a course that takes more than six months to complete; migrate to Australia and intend to reside here permanently.
If you go overseas temporarily and don’t set up a permanent home in another country, you may continue to be treated as an Australian resident for tax purposes. If you are in Australia on a working holiday visa (subclass 417) or a work and holiday visa (subclass 462) you must place an X in the working holiday maker box. Special rates of tax apply for working holiday makers.
The tax-free threshold is the amount of income you can earn each financial year that is not taxed. By claiming the threshold, you reduce the amount of tax that is withheld from your pay during the year. Answer yes if you want to claim the tax-free threshold, you are an Australian resident for tax purposes, and one of the following applies:
you are not currently claiming the tax-free threshold from another payer
you are currently claiming the tax-free threshold from another payer and your total income from all sources will be less than the tax-free threshold.
Answer yes if you are a foreign resident in receipt of an Australian Government pension or allowance. Answer no if none of the above applies, or if you are a working holiday maker.
Everyone working in Australia needs a myGov Account to complete their tax return. Your myGov account will contain your tax, super and medical information. Go to: https://my.gov.au/en/create-account/ to set up your account and once complete ensure you link the ATO to your myGov account.
Your payment summary information will be available in your myGov account at the end of the financial year, therefore you must register for a myGov account in order to receive it. Your payment summary information will be called an income statement in myGov.
The ATO will send a notification to your myGov inbox when your income statement is ‘tax ready’ so you or your tax agent can complete your tax return. For any copies of income statements, you should contact the ATO directly.
Morgan McKinley taxes you based on your weekly earnings and also the information you provide us on your Tax File Declaration. To calculate what rate you have been taxed at or to find out how much you should have been taxed, we recommend using this calculator on the ATO website.
If you believe you have been taxed at the incorrect rate, please contact us directly.
