One of our clients in the building materials space is looking for a new sales manager to join their team! You will be tasked with things such as:
- Representing the organization in the Commercial Office and Data Centre markets, identifying new opportunities and converting them into qualified leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project teams, architects, contractors, and the organization's dealers across Canada.
- Provide technical support, develop project quotes and proposals, and manage the sales pipeline through CRM systems.
- Lead major project tender processes, attend networking events, and execute strategies to grow the organization's presence in Ontario, Quebec, and Eastern Canada.
- Ensure compliance with product regulations and internal policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align customer and sector goals.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- 7+ years of sales experience in the building materials sector, with a preference for candidates with a background in engineering or Data Centre industry experience.
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and business acumen to drive commercial success and manage complex sales processes.
- Effective at setting objectives, managing time, and prioritizing tasks under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Proven ability to manage external supply partners, work within a multidivisional organization, and lead successful sales execution and growth strategies.
