My Advice

With the increasingly competitive landscape in Hong Kong SAR's Financial Services market, my advice for candidates is to be open-minded to consider contract assignments. This will continue to become a trend as more and more companies will have growing needs in project-based work. Not only will contract roles give you a glimpse to what it would be like working for different top-tier firms, they can also gear you up with valuable skill sets and allow you to gain wider exposure to various financial products.

My Background

I hold a Bachelor degree in Psychology and Business Studies from New York University. Prior to joining Morgan McKinley, I was with another 1st-tier recruitment firm, in which I played a key role in setting up the Contracting desk. I currently run the Contracting business in Morgan McKinley Hong Kong SAR, supporting clients across financial services & commerce sectors on hiring contractors. My team of contracting specialists recruit in technology, operations, risk & compliance, finance & accounting and business support.
