My Advice

The IT sector is a fast-growing sector compared to the rest of the economy in terms of job creation. With many jobs created, companies are looking for temporary workers to fill the skills shortage, leading to high demand for contract roles in the IT industry. Candidates are advised to consider contract roles to diversify their skill sets, build their professional networks and create a decent entry point to multinational corporations with the potential for permanent role conversion.

My Background

After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles, I started my career in the PR industry serving clients from the corporate, public affairs and travel & hospitality sectors. Prior to joining the recruitment industry, I worked in market research and corporate communications at a global engineering firm.
