M365 Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment and day‑to‑day administration of Microsoft 365 services, corporate directory services (Entra ID/AD) and integrated third‑party technologies.
• Manage messaging and collaboration platforms including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
• Design, implement and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) / VDI solutions and related cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS).
• Support infrastructure setup and migration for new business entities and group IT initiatives.
• Work closely with application, architecture and security teams to develop converged solutions and operational processes that improve service delivery.
• Assist cloud operations and delivery teams to drive cloud adoption while aligning with the organisation's technology strategy.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft 365 technologies and management tools and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors, auditors and consultants; follow up on support cases to resolution.
• Ensure managed infrastructure complies with security and regulatory standards and participate in DR drills and business continuity planning.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, SSL certificate management and encryption solutions.

Qualifications and experience

• Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent, plus 3+ years' relevant experience.
• Professional certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, GenAI).
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 suite, Entra ID/Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, VDI/AVD and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with SSL certificate management, encryption, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• In‑depth technical knowledge of servers, networking, storage, virtualization, cloud infrastructure and IT security.
• Solid problem‑solving, management and analytical skills.
• Experience with mobile and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with IT operations in the insurance industry is an advantage.
• Proficient written English and Chinese; fluent spoken English.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new IT technologies.
