Research Analyst (Emerging Asia markets)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on economic trends, political developments, and policy changes in developed markets and emerging Asia, particularly China.
• Develop insights into key market movements (e.g., interest rates and foreign exchange) using both fundamental and technical analysis.
• Share economic outlooks and research findings with internal investment teams.
• Prepare thematic reports and concise commentaries on economic and market conditions.
• Collaborate on internal and external research projects focused on the Asia region, with an emphasis on China.
• Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive investment reports and corporate strategy documents.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in Economics; a PhD is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in government agencies, financial institutions, or academic settings.
• Strong knowledge of economic fundamentals and policy frameworks, along with their implications for financial markets.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities.
