Senior Manager, Strategic Procurement

About The Role

As a Senior Manager, Strategic Procurement you will be partnering with business stakeholders for the development and deployment of competitive and cost-effective end-to-end procurement workflow and strategies. In addition, manage contractual operations for cross departmental tenders to maximize high degree of procurement compliance throughout the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify and elevate opportunities within sub-categories (Security, Transports & Fleet) whilst maintaining cost effectiveness and competitiveness for business stakeholders
• Develop and deploy cost effective and competitive procurement strategies according to business stakeholder's needs and requirements
• Conduct periodic reviews for indirect category financial expenditure to ensure cost-effectiveness is driven and maintained throughout the company
• Develop key performance indicators to ensure suppliers can fulfil targeted performance specifications/ SLA
• Lead in contractual operations for cross departmental tenders to maximize high degree/ level of procurement compliance to ensure the organisation's interest is always protected
• Provide insights and recommendations to best practices of procurement operations for continuous improvement initiatives within the department

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any other relevant disciplines of studies
• Members of CIPS/ MCIPS is preferred
• Minimum 10 years of indirect procurement knowledge, preferably with category management skills for Transportation & Logisitcs Services, Security Services, all of which should be obtained within a well established organisation
• Previous leadership experience is required in order to lead and manage a team of 4-5 subordiantes effectively
• Fluency in both written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
• Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective communications between business stakeholders
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the title of Manager, Strategic Procurement
• Short notice is highly preferrable
