About the role
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking finance professional to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be Big 4 trained with virtual assets, crypto or blockchain understanding.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial systems and processes that align with the growth of the blockchain-based business, ensuring alignment with international compliance standards.
- Gain a strong understanding of standardized blockchain fund products and business models. Utilize this knowledge to support key financial functions, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and project-related financial support.
- Collaborate closely with business and product teams to support the pricing strategies of blockchain-based commercial products. Establish and maintain a pricing review mechanism.
- Work with internal finance teams-including but not limited to FOC, reporting, and tax-to ensure financial compliance across both the business unit and legal entity levels for blockchain-related offerings.
- Provide financial management support for the blockchain funds business, including financial analysis, budget planning and control, forecasting, and project-based financial support.
- Identify key risks throughout the end-to-end funds business process. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to implement effective risk prevention and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of companies within the blockchain industry, focusing on both business and financial models. Develop measurement frameworks and identify financial improvement opportunities.
- Provide additional financial analysis support as required for special projects or organizational needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 5+ years of financial work experience. Strong background in foreign exchange management within banking or corporate treasury preferred.
- Solid understanding of the blockchain industry, including its key players, technologies, and market trends.
- Fluency in both Chinese and English-spoken and written-is required.
- Strong logical thinking, data sensitivity, and analytical skills. Ability to identify, analyse, and solve complex financial problems independently.
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial modelling and data visualization tools. Strong ability to present financial data clearly and concisely.
