We are seeking an experienced and visionary Retail Strategic Head for our client, an apparel brand to lead the retail team. As the Retail Strategic Head, you will be responsible for formulating and executing retail strategies to enhance customer experience, boost sales, and maximize profitability. Your role will involve analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and developing innovative strategies to stay ahead in the competitive retail landscape. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the retail excellence in the APAC area to achieve short and long-term strategic and sales strategies;
- Responsible for store KPI's, sales budgets, provide regular forecasts, control spending, staff commission scheme, incentive programs and staff cost;
- Leading and motivating the sales team in planned way to achieve store target;
- Review KPI's and reorganize sales plan to strive higher sales for multiple stores;
- Identify new opportunity which could increase customer footfall & attract new customer as well as build loyalty relationship towards brand / expanding shop experience are required;
- Manage and ensure the stores have a high standard of service presentation, to provide excellent customer service;
- Nurturing talents, regularly evaluate the staff performance and design the staff development or improvement plans;
- Coordinate with internal teams for new season launch arrangement in retail stores;
- Review and implement standard operational procedures to maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness;
- Review and analyze sales performance, operational expenses and inventory loss of the stores;
- Work closely with internal department such as buying, sales operations, training, visual merchandising and marketing to support the front line sales growth;
- Manage the installation of new store and renovations in close cooperation with internal team;
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a multi-location or national retail organization.
- In-depth knowledge of the retail industry, including market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to envision and execute long-term plans.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating teams.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing retail strategies that drive sales and growth.
- Strong business acumen, with a focus on financial performance and profitability.
- Proficiency in retail management software, inventory management systems, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to travel to various store locations and attend industry events as required.
- Spoken and written Chinese required.
