Responsibilities:
Be accountable to the project sponsor for producing high-quality deliverables within agreed timelines and budgets.
Create and oversee the project budget, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Develop, manage, and resource comprehensive IT project plans; collaborate with the project sponsor to review plans, costs, and resources.
Ensure all project commitments are fulfilled; monitor and report progress in alignment with PMO requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle; provide regular updates to the project sponsor.
Implement appropriate standards and quality controls within the project plan; establish effective mechanisms for quality assurance.
Ensure that change management processes are effectively integrated into project workflows.
Foster strong relationships through effective communication with all stakeholders, including third-party vendors, serving as the primary point of contact.
Identify, onboard, and manage team members and third-party resources to ensure successful project execution.
Actively promote a diverse and inclusive culture built on trust and respect; support cross-team collaboration and model cooperative behaviors.
Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8 to 10 years of experience in software development, system integration, and architecture design (both on-premise and cloud-based).
Extensive experience in IT project planning, sizing, and implementation.
A current professional program management certification (e.g., PMP or Prince2); expired certifications are not accepted.
Proven track record in managing mid-to-large scale package-based, bespoke, or cloud-based solution implementations.
Experience in liaising with various stakeholders, including SI vendors and on/off-shore resources.
Familiarity with IT audits, cloud computing, and security frameworks (e.g., ISO27001). Solid experience with incident response management tools, and knowledge of SIEM and intrusion detection systems.
Proficiency in data analytics and programming languages such as R and Python is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
Ability to work autonomously.
Knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework, C#, MS/PL SQL, Oracle DB, Java, and other open-source technologies.
A solid understanding of cloud-based solutions architecture.
