You will be responsible for maintaining an effective IT End User Computing environment, ensuring service availability across locations in Hong Kong and Asia. Any disruption could significantly impact business operations.
Job description:
- Design and evolve the standard operating environment for desktop and laptop PCs, transitioning to Azure-joined devices.
- Solve problems, automate processes, and adjust systems to meet security requirements.
- Collaborate with users and business units to implement effective EUC technology solutions.
- Manage vendors for solution planning and technical support.
- Use PowerShell for efficient administration of Active Directory and Office 365.
- Recommend technologies to boost workplace productivity.
- Document all systems and security changes related to EUC.
- Ensure secure EUC solutions that comply with audit requirements.
- Maintain reliability and availability of EUC solutions to meet SLAs.
- Conduct stress/load testing before launching new services.
- Acquire project knowledge for effective internal support post-launch.
- Ensure quality technical documentation for future maintenance.
- Troubleshoot issues in production and non-production environments.
- Establish standards for EUC platforms and solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong experience with Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Mobile Device Management, Office 365, Azure AD, Intune, PowerShell, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, VLANs, routing, and switching is beneficial.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, ITIL) are a plus.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience managing vendors and IT support operations.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage.
