Review capacity and authority for wealth management clients for Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia offices
Ensure that the procedural documentation requirements have been fulfilled and approve wealth management accounts; work closely with account opening teams and operations to ensure a smooth process in client onboarding
Prepare master derivatives agreements, including but not limited to ISDA agreements
Work closely with Sales, Risk, Credit and Legal on documentation developments and assist with tailor drafting
Conduct due diligence, capacity and authority check on client as part of the credit limit review
Review and analyse capacity and authority legal opinion from external counsel
Assist in various projects from documentation perspective and help to drive remediation exercise where necessary
Participate in globally or locally led projects related to documentation
Requirements
Holder of Law degree
Proficient in written and verbal English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
Organised, good team player, detail orientated, pro-active and good multi-tasking skills
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a law firm or the financial services industry
