Fixed Income Trade Support (Investment Bank)

Responsibilities

• Product Coverage of entire Fixed Income Trade Support Group are: Fixed income Bond, FX, Interest Rate, FX swaps, FX options, Credit Default Swaps, Corporate Bonds, Distressed Bonds, Treasury Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, cross-currency swaps, and other structured products
• Support China onshore business - IBD, FID, GCM and Treasury
• Work closely with traders, sales teams, middle office, and other stakeholders to execute fixed income trade lifecycle.
• Confirm trade details, including prices, quantities, and settlement dates, and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
• Process corporate actions, post trade and life-cycle events
• Perform implementation of new processing platforms and system enhancements
• Proactively identify and address operational issues to minimize risk and ensure smooth trade processing.
• Working with legal/compliance, IT and project teams to analyse new regulatory reform requirements and deploy new processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years' experience in middle office / trade support role
• Relevant work experience with fixed income OTC products and related fields
• Familiarity with trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive on taking up tasks
• Proficient PC sills including MS Office (Excel & VBA)
