Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Analyst

A leading chemical company is seeking a QC Laboratory Analyst to support operations across its sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a science graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a regulated laboratory environment. As a QC Laboratory Analyst, you'll perform routine testing, help maintain compliance with quality and safety standards, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives. The role involves working across two facilities, with training and support provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Log and track laboratory samples accurately in line with internal procedures.
- Carry out basic lab tests such as pH, titrations, turbidity, and moisture content using standard equipment.
- Record and interpret test results with guidance from senior team members.
- Support compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) systems.
- Ensure correct labelling and storage of samples and reagents.
- Participate in training and keep personal training records up to date.
- Support laboratory investigations and continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in stock management of lab consumables and equipment.
- Work closely with the QC and SHEQ teams on assigned tasks and projects.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Degree in a scientific subject (e.g., Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, etc.) or equivalent.
Desirable Experience:
- Up to 1 year of laboratory experience (e.g., from internships, academic projects, or previous roles).
- Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques (pH, titration, density, etc.).
- Awareness of working in a laboratory with quality or safety standards.
