My client based in Cork, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week).
This position offers flexibility in how these hours are worked (3 days, 5 mornings)
This role will be based on site in the Cork office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily posting of bank transactions
- Monthly bank account reconciliations
- Coding and inputting of purchase invoices
- Bank sheet reconciliations
- Processing of general ledger journals
- Weekly Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments to suppliers
- Creditors reconciliations and preparation of monthly aged creditor reports
- Processing of petty cash transactions
- Assisting in the preparation of internal management reports
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in Bookkeeping
- Experience working in finance within Retail is an advantage
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Proven work ethic and adaptability
- Strong attention to detail.
