Global Transformation Leader: Finance Project Manager
A leading international technology company is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Finance Project Manager to spearhead a critical, high-priority global transformation initiative. This permanent role focuses on executing the operational excellence program by implementing a unified ERP platform and harmonizing processes across international Data Centers Technology regions.
This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can drive measurable, sustainable change in a complex, cross-functional environment.
Critical Focus: Project Management & Transformation
Success in this role hinges on outstanding project management and leadership skills-the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute highly complex initiatives involving multiple global stakeholders.
- Project Leadership: Develop and maintain detailed sub-project plans, align activities across workstreams, and manage dependencies to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Risk & Issue Management: Act as the primary escalation point, proactively identifying and managing risks and issues, and developing effective mitigation and contingency plans.
- Change Agent: Serve as a confident change ambassador, promoting awareness and adoption of new solutions and guiding teams through transformation without relying solely on direct authority.
Core Responsibilities
- ERP Implementation: Lead the Finance Workstream during the implementation of a unified ERP platform, ensuring all financial processes are harmonized, connected, and efficient across global regions.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the central point of contact, ensuring alignment across technical specialists, local process owners, and business leaders to integrate requirements into the solution design.
- Documentation & Quality: Oversee the thorough documentation of functionality, process developments, and future business requirements. Support planning and execution of all testing and Quality Assurance (QA) activities.
- Requirements & Scope: Own the requirements gathering, validation, and strict control of project scope throughout the entire lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of large-scale project management experience, with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
- Technical Expertise (Essential): Extensive, hands-on experience with ERP Platforms, demonstrating broad business process knowledge across the financial domain.
- System Preference (Key Advantage): Proven expertise with IFS Cloud ERP implementation, optimization, or integration is a significant advantage.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, building collaboration, trust, and alignment across organizational boundaries and diverse teams.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP, PgMP, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
Location & Travel: Based in Ireland to support regular collaboration with manufacturing facilities. International travel up to 30% is expected.
