Key Responsibilities:
- Build the Function: Establish the internal audit team, including recruitment, training, and development.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to inform the annual audit plan.
- Audit Execution: Oversee the execution of audits, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Reporting: Present audit findings and recommendations to management and the Audit Committee.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of internal controls and risk management processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CIA preferred)
- 5-7+ years of leadership experience in internal audit
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, SOX, and risk management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to lead and mentor a team
- Readiness for international travel
