Maintenance Operator - Manufacturing Industry
We are seeking a Maintenance Operator to join our client's team in a permanent, full-time role. This hands-on position is ideal for candidates with a mechanical background, including automotive mechanics, plant fitters, or similar trades.
What's on Offer?
💰 Salary: €38.5k + overtime (1.5x), pension, and bonus
🏥 Healthcare allowance: €1,200 per year
📅 Work Schedule: Mostly day shifts (7-8 AM start), occasional Saturdays for planned maintenance (overtime available)
Key Responsibilities:
🔧 Mechanical maintenance of production equipment, including motors, mixers, tipping & bagging machines, case erectors, and a robotic system (training provided).
🛠️ Routine and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
📊 Maintenance record-keeping (currently using Excel, moving to BuildApp CMMS).
👷♂️ Working within a small maintenance team (1 technician, 1 engineer).
⚡ Electrical work is handled by contractors, so no electrical experience required.
Ideal Candidate:
✅ Mechanical background - ideal for automotive mechanics, plant fitters, or similar trades.
✅ Hands-on experience with industrial machinery or mechanical repairs.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a small team.
✅ Willingness to learn robotics and new maintenance software.
