About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Partner with operations to manage a significant operational spend, ensuring effective communication between finance and operational teams.
- Take ownership of financial and administrative controls across multiple plants, focusing on robust processes and cost control.
- Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to benchmark plant performance and influence decision-making around cost efficiency and operational improvements.
- Lead monthly operational reporting, including variance analysis, and provide insightful presentations to senior finance stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and year-end operational spend, ensuring alignment with group strategies and processes.
What We're Looking For
- A qualified accountant with 2+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally within the SME sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a non-structured environment.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to challenge and drive improvements.
