We are seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager to join a forward-thinking company in the timber frame sector. This permanent role presents an exciting opportunity to develop valuable experience within a rapidly growing industry.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of construction practices, including quality control procedures and health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Contracts Manager to oversee daily operations across various construction sites in Ireland.
- Ensure that installation processes meet high-quality standards.
- Document and report site-related issues to support quality control and certification efforts.
- Conduct weekly toolbox talks and work closely with site teams on various tasks.
- Serve as a liaison between the site, design, and manufacturing teams.
- Maintain detailed site diaries and photographic documentation to assist in the sign-off process.
- Keep comprehensive records of meetings and correspondence with site personnel and clients.
- Foster strong relationships with site teams, clients, and third-party stakeholders.
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of materials and equipment on-site.
- Drive efficiencies and standardize practices and reporting methods across projects.
- Advocate for a safe working environment, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
- Trade or building qualification is beneficial.
- Experience in the timber frame sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A full clean driver's license (company vehicle provided).
- Prior experience in construction is preferred
