11 month contract | Remote within Ireland | Multinational tech company
Our client is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to lead proactive and reactive communications efforts in Ireland and support high-priority areas in the UK. This role involves managing crisis and issue communications, overseeing campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and timely execution.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the Irish communications lead, managing media interactions and proactive campaigns in Ireland.
- Collaborate with EMEA and global communications teams, cross-functional colleagues in Policy, Legal, and Community Operations, and external agency teams to address high-priority media inquiries.
- Develop and maintain relationships with tier-one media in Ireland.
- Support UK team efforts, including key proactive campaigns and strategic narratives.
- Drive priority campaigns around AI and other significant projects
- Manage daily tasks such as announcements, media inquiries, and ongoing communications initiatives.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience within the Irish media landscape, ideally with exposure to tech or high-profile consumer-facing brands.
- Proven ability to manage external agency teams effectively.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects across multiple teams, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good judgment with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Competence in measuring campaign success through metrics and data analysis.
