Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close and group consolidation process
- Prepare and review journals, accruals, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
- Produce monthly management accounts with clear analysis and insights
- Deliver financial reports and updates to senior leadership
- Partner with department heads to support financial performance and decision-making
- Coordinate annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes
- Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Oversee payroll review and payment approvals
- Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance
- Manage audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Strong experience in financial reporting, management accounts, and consolidation
- Proven ability to deliver financial insights to senior stakeholders
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
- Strong understanding of financial controls, payroll, and payment processes
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with strong organisational ability
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
